PROGRAMME DETAILS
Training course goals
You wish to train yourself to the better in order to pursue your studies in France, precisely in the scientific field? This program is made for you! By joining it, you’ll be able to improve your French, but also you’ll be able to learn all the essential elements in order to succeed in your studies’ curriculum: methodology, specific scientific vocabulary… Furthermore, you’ll be able to train yourself efficiently for entrance exams in order to join engineering schools, thanks to an adapted training course and a personalized support.
Classes' content
In this program, two major training units are tackled:
- Linguistic unit :
This unit will allow you to improve your French level in the four CECRL skills (written / oral comprehension and expression), to prepare yourself to take the French language certifications but also to facilitate your understanding of the scientific field thanks to french classes of specialism.
-
Method and major unit:
This unit will allow you to acquire all the necessary methods in order to be able to follow a science class (reasoning, writing…) and to take France’s exams. It’ll also allow you to train yourself for entrance exams to enter French engineering schools.
Educational approach
To achieve your objectives, ISPA makes use of an active pedagogy which rests upon three points:
- A real support of your training, with exams and remedial sequences during the training, but also through a reflexive work on teaching methods.
- A promotion of your autonomy, and the provision of a multimedia classroom, a resource center and a free open Internet access.
- The promotion of your integration through cultural activities organized by the school, the Buddy Program and the integration in local activities.
For this, your training in French as a foreign language will be enriched by specialism classes in order to make you acquire not only specific vocabulary but also all the necessary methodology to pursue your studies. In groups of 20 people maximum, you’ll work on the four CECRL skills (oral comprehension, written comprehension, oral expression and written expression), while staying as close as possible to your future needs. Of course, you’ll benefit from privileged moments with your teachers and, in case of difficulties, of an important follow up from them.
